prevent documentation drift
maintain architectural clarity

show successor modules and inheritance paths
provide examiners, engineers, and learners with a clean continuity record
This section ensures that history is preserved while the active system remains drift‑free.
2. Structure of the Lineage RegistryThe Historical Lineage is divided into three categories:
A. Retired ModulesModules that once existed but are no longer active.
These entries include:
original purpose

what replaced them
governance rules for referencing them
